Prabhas gave his five years to SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus the ‘Baahubali’ series. His dedication, hard work, and the belief he had on Rajamouli bore fruits and the series have broken the worldwide records ever set by any Indian film.
Soon after the release of the second part of the series, there were reports on how Prabhas left big opportunities for the ‘Baahubali’ series. According to the actor, Baahubali became his life for those five years. Talking about the film, Prabhas said,
It is always difficult to move on from something that you have been associated with for this long. In these five years, ‘Baahubali’ has not been a part of my life, it has been my life. I have been more of Baahubali than my own self in these years.
Just like ‘Baahubali’ fans are not satisfied even after getting the answer to why Kattappa killed Baahubali, Prabhas is also having withdrawal symptoms. He is not able to get over the fact that the film is finally over.
So, withdrawal symptoms are natural but what’s overpowering right now is all the love that people across the nation are showering on me, said Prabhas.
On asking Prabhas about the rumors of Karan Johar collaborating with SS Rajamouli to launch him in Bollywood, the actor said,
There is no immediate plan but it will be quite interesting. Working with Rajamouli and Karan is home ground for me now having worked with them for such a long time. But I think Baahubali has paved the way for pan-Indian films.
Praising the efforts that Rajamouli have put in the series, Prabhas said,
How much ever I talk about Rajamouli sir will be less. To call him a genius is an understatement. He doesn’t only have a powerful vision but also knows of ways and means to make that come to life.
