To be part of a movie franchise as grand as ‘Baahubali’ demands a lifestyle change. Best results are churned out only when each and every person working for a movie, irrespective of their contribution being big or small, treats the project as his or her own. The success enjoyed by the movie tells that no stone was left unturned.
Every fan of ‘Baahubali’ was in awe when the media reported about the dramatic weight gain and tightly packed workout regime of Prabhas, who played the protagonist. Our favorite actor did not stop working hard after attaining such success. He is back, and this time, he is on a weight loss spree for the upcoming movie ‘Saaho’. He has lost 10 kg for his new film directed by Rajamouli.
Prabhas, who was originally around 82 kg, had to put on more than 20 kg for Rajamouli’s hit. ‘Baahubali’ had him weigh approximately 120 kg whereas in ‘Baahubali 2’ he was approximately 150 kg. This is considered to be one of the major transformations in Tollywood. Not only did he observe and learn from WWF wrestlers but also followed a strict regime of a 6-hour workout and 4 years of dedication. Indeed, Prabhas can be counted among some of the hardworking actors in both film industries.
Rajamouli has teamed up with Prabhas once again for his upcoming film ‘Saaho’ which is said to be another ambitious project of the director. The news was ripe that Prabhas will learn Hindi for the version meant for north India. If the challenging task of learning a new language has been taken up by the talented actor, then shedding some weight to reach the target of 87 kg is not going to act as a hurdle in his way.
Prabhas has to lose 10 kg more to get back to 87-88 kg for ‘Saaho’. Having a personal gym which was built by him during the physical training for ‘Baahubali’ is indeed a source of inspiration. Prabhas informed in one of his recent interviews that he will gladly work with Rajamouli every time he comes up with a different idea.
