One of the most boldly scripted movies of all times, the Jism franchise has entertained us twice. Who can forget Jism and Jism 2? The first film starring Bipasha Basu, John Abraham and Gulshan Grover did well at the box office and was very well received by the audiences. Wait, there’s more! The sequel of the same was not at all disappointing and starred Bollywood’s bombshell, Sunny Leone and Randeep Hooda. Fans have loved the franchise and are dying for another sequel. And it seems that their prayers about Jism 3 will be answered.
Yes, you heard that right! By the way, do you have any idea that who is going to be considered for the lead role (female) in the erotic thriller? We are surely excited about the same!
Well, you are in for a treat dear because recently Pooja Bhatt spilled some beans about what the leading lady of Jism 3 is going to be like!
In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, the Jism 2 helmer said,
“I am directing and producing Jism 3. The shooting of the movie will start in the second half of 2019. The script is almost ready and I am looking for a new face.”
About the casting, she further stated,
“I am not going to cast an obvious physical woman. My point is where is India’s Monica Bellucci or Sharon Stone? I really want to play in that area and at the end of the day, we need to look beyond the 24-year-olds. Why can’t India’s fantasy be a 45-year-old? We need a woman now, no more girls. I am looking for someone who has got the depth of character, understanding of acting skills and is sexy as hell.”
So, the thing is, it seems that this time Jism 3 is going to see more “maturity”. However since the first part had Bips and second had Sunny, it’s gonna be a challenge for the diva.
Interestingly, speculations have been rife that Sadak featuring Sanjay Dutt and Pooja in lead roles will get a second part too. However, Pooja remained tight-lipped regarding the same.
“Sadak 2 is happening for sure and you will hear about it very soon. I am acting in that as well.”
But given how splendidly Pooja has directed Jism 2, we can expect that the talented director will not disappoint us at all! Do you think Jism 3 will leave its predecessors behind when it comes to the ticketing window? Let us know in the comments!
