Police Officers Caught On Camera Committing Burglary In Pakistan’s Rawalpindi

What if those who maintain law & order in a country themselves become criminals? This is what happened in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

In a shocking incident of crime by the law enforcers, three police officers, including DSP, SHO and SI, were caught on CCTV camera committing a burglary in Rawalpindi.

The police officers caught committing the crime have been identified as Zaigham Abbas (Deputy Superintendent Police), Nadeem Abbas (Station House Officer) and Risalat (Sub-Inspector).

According to Pakistani dailies, it is said that the officers had led a team of police to the house of one Waleed Khan, the cousin of a man accused in a murder case.

It is reportedly said that when the team did not find the accused in the house, they turned criminals and took away around half million of cash and at least 125 grams of gold from the house. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV camera.

A case has been registered against the officers under Section 342 of PCC. Interestingly, two months have passed since the incident. Not one police personnel involved in the raid has been arrested so far.

And that tells us about the lawlessness of Pakistan.
