A few months ago, Shreshtha Thakur, an officer of the Uttar Pradesh police had made news for her strict behavior with politicians and now its time to meet another Lady Singham from the state. Manzil Saini, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Meerut has reportedly shut down a Samajwadi Party leader in her police station.
A video of Saini taking on the SP leader has surfaced on the internet and has gone viral. The video was uploaded by Ajit Kumar Doval, the 5th and current National Security Adviser to Prime Minister of India on his Facebook page on December 3, 2017 . It has crossed 3,20,000 views and has been shared by more than 1,500 users since then.
A leader of the Samajwadi Party comes to her police station demanding release of her household cook and driver who are wanted and held by the police. But Manzil Saini refuses to do what the leader expected of her. In the video, the police officer can be heard saying,
Har aadmi man marzi thode hee kar lega. 5 saal man marzi chal gayi, bohot hai, nahi chalegi abhi. This is not done.
The strict attitude that the police officer can be seen carrying with herself while dealing with the politicians in the video, and apparently, not giving in to their unfair demands is worth appreciation. Below is the video of Manzil Saini dealing with the SP leader in her devil may care attitude:
And as social media users watched the video, a number of them were singing praises for her in comments. Have a look at some of the best comments below:
This is not the first time that the police officer has made news. Earlier she had been in the limelight for becoming the first woman SSP of Uttar Pradesh’s capital city Lucknow. It is also held that she is the first Indian woman to qualify for IPS after marriage.
