Hannah Havers, a 35-year-old mother of three feels great to have left her job as a police officer at Thames Valley Police and opted for a completely contrasting, but much better paying, job as a lap dancer.
Hannah joined the police force in 2003 and after serving for 12 years, she realized that her job had left her exhausted and she had no time for family. However, ever since she opted for a career change, she can take care of her children as the “primary caregiver”. She can also spend the entire Friday with husband Michael who is also a police officer but has the day off.
Describing her job change as “the best decision” she ever made, Hannah reveals that now she earns more than double her previous salary and that too by working for just 2-3 nights a week.
Hannah does nude private dances 2-3 nights in a week at club Honey Pot in Maidenhead. She did the same job when she was 19. Now, she charges close to 3000 rupees for a 4-minute dance. The “dance fee” she pays to the club varies between around 3000 to 8000 rupees and all the private dance payments above that amount belong to her.
Calling it “an instant improvement” in her life, Hannah says,
I really enjoy it. I’ve got lots of regular clients and I’m totally open about my former career. I’m making more in two weeks than I would in a whole month at the police. I work two or three nights a week and it totally fits around my family unit. The police is a very stressful job and it was really damaging our marriage. Going back to lap dancing is the best decision I could have made. I wish I had done it ten years ago.
The cop-turned-dancer reveals that she is not shy of doing nude dances as she doesn’t have “anything different from anyone else”. Ironically, the lady feels a lot safer in her new career than she did as a cop as she was assaulted more times in her previous job than in her present one.
Hoping to open a club with her husband in the future, Hannah reveals that she has taken this decision with his consent. Commenting on her job switch, he husband Michael says,
Since Hannah has left the force, we get loads of time together and with the family which is a massive bonus. I think it has helped our relationship massively because of the less time Hannah is at work. I am fully supportive of what my wife does for a living, she isn’t doing anything wrong or that she shouldn’t be doing. If anything this move has improved our lives.
