The video of a shocking incident is currently being circulated on the internet. The video is also a clear reminder of the fact that one should never take risks as stupid as walking over a train, even if the train is not in motion.

Ranjith Kumar, 34, who is the Tindivanam town vice-president of Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) climbed atop the train and raised slogans. However, Ranjith accidentally came in contact with the high tension cable at Tindivanam railway station and suffered an electric shock. The incident happened on April 11 morning.

PMK workers led by party general secretary Vadivel Ravanan blocked the Guruvayur Express train as it reached Tindivanam railway station from Chennai.

The impact of the shock was so strong that Ranjith was thrown off the train. People from his party rescued him and rushed him to  Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) in Puducherry.

As per the report, Ranjith had suffered 65-70 percent burn injuries. The doctor who is treating him mentioned, “The patient is conscious and awake. All his vital parameters are normal. He sustained 65-70 percent burn injuries on his limbs, abdomen and chest. Any burn injury above 20 percent is considered a major one.”
Below is the video of the incident in which it can be very clearly seen that Ranjith suffered a major shock.
