After unfurling the tricolour on the occasion of India’s 70th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation for the third time from the Red Fort.
While every year PM Modi takes up a special topic of discussion, on the occasion of 70th Independence Day, he spoke about reaching ‘Surajya’.
He also added that India will not yield to terrorism and even addressed people of Balochistan and PoK in his speech.
Talking about the government’s work, Modi said he will ensure poor are not affected by inflation.
Talking about the ongoing issues of division in the country and said India needs to rise above them.
He finished his speech by quoting great leaders like Gandhi and Ambedkar and stressed on the need for social unity.
