Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always been one to make strong statements and the vehicles used by him are no exception. During his time as the chief minister of Gujarat, PM Modi was often seen being driven around in a Mahindra Scorpio. This armored SUV, which came with 4X4 capacity, could take on any kind of terrain. It was an integral part of PM Modi’s life even during his Lok Sabha campaigning days.
His garage got a considerable upgrade after he took office as the prime minister. The Scorpio was replaced by an armored BMW 7 Series luxury car.
Equipped with760 Li High Edition Security Edition, this car had a 20-inch bulletproof alloy and a self-sealing fuel tank. It could survive bullets, bombs and even explosions.
The most recent upgrade saw PM Modi being driven in a 2010 Range Rover HSE with a 5-liter V8 engine that produces 375 bhp. Needless to say, this beast of an SUV is fully armored and well equipped.
Given that Jaguar and Land Rover is now owned by Tata Motors, it would be more appropriate for the prime minister to travel in it. Land Rover’s clientele had included only royalty, rappers, rock stars, and dignitaries.
So these are all the automobiles, PM Modi has used over his tenure as the Prime Minister of India.
