Brace yourself! One of the biggest festivals of India is here. Yes, Holi. For many, it’s the most awaited festival of the year. However, the ones who like to stay away from the mess and annoyance during the festival will beg to differ. Are you one who thinks Holi is overrated and secretly fears this day? If you are, you will totally hate these:
1. Over enthusiast kids
You are stepping out in your perfect attire and bam! Now you are half soaked with water dripping from hairs. As for your clothes, they are ruined forever! Throwing color balloons on strangers is a favorite Holi timepass for the kids. It is not fun! Mainly because if you scream back then you will be seen as a Moron.
2. What’s the point?
Hours of preparation for saving your hair and skin, then getting soaked in colors, and finally, spending hours to get rid of the color. Moreover, showing off the colorful self in the office next day! Is it really worth doing?
3. Eggs, really!
When the colors are barely tolerable, then how the introduction of eggs feel? Simply, outrageous! Stop using eggs, muds, and other stuff during this overrated festival.
4. Forced socialization
If you are not someone who loves the coziness of home over meeting people with a forced smile, then you will never relate to this point. Holi is a holiday, isn’t it better to relax and enjoy rather than meeting guests?
5. Clichéd dialogue

During Holi, people take ‘Bura Na Maano Holi Hai,’ way too seriously. If someone doesn’t like Holi, she or he will definitely mind.
6. The drunken drama
Really people? Using a festival to fulfill your heart’s desire to get high? It is not ok when someone shows up drunk and you have to handle their drunkenness.
7. What about the environment?
Products with organic label sell! Yes, we get that. However, how many are actually safe? Very few. Hence, smart way is to drop this obsession with colors. It will save water too.
8. Why the early mayhem?
We get it, you love Holi. Does that mean going full-retard? What is the point of throwing colors in workplace, school, or college? STOP!
