Twitter is the internet’s biggest battleground. Opinions, trolls, and all sorts of controversies start and end here.
Since the last few days, it has become a really perilous place. Three well-known artists; Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Paresh Rawal, and Sonu Nigam expressed their mind on political issues and paid a heavy price. Because maybe being “politically correct” is the only language that the Twitterati accept.
Paresh Rawal made an insensitive remark on acclaimed author Arundhati Roy, he was forced to delete his tweet. Abhijeet’s Twitter account was suspended after he posted a dehumanizing tweet for a woman.
But the most shocking move was Sonu Nigam quitting Twitter after he bashed so-called pseudo-intellectuals with 24 ferocious tweets. This outrage was built-up of the azaan controversy and singer Abhijeet’s immediate suspension.
After his exit, expectedly, many people didn’t appreciate his move, and very few people wanted him back.

Got the sarcasm?
Intellectual. Informed. Modern. Independent. Educated. Classy. Highbrow. We need such people on twitter not the blokes like Sonu Nigam https://t.co/cYosuFqotT

Quitting may not be the solution.

Point to be noted.
Sonu Nigam quits Twitter to protest Abhijeet’s account suspension
But he didn’t quit singing to protest Abhijeet’s unemployment.
