Truly, without a doubt, birds and animals are man’s best friends! We often come across stories where these brave creatures defy every situation to prove that they are there for their masters.
In one such incident, a parrot who flew out of the house two years ago seems to have found his way back to the place he calls ‘home’.
Ramu and Gopu, two mountain parrots, were brought home by an Indore resident Devendra Inani. In no time, both the parrots became part of the family and soon learnt the names of the family members.
On the fateful day, Ramu was last seen siting on the terrace when the nature decided to turn dark and grey. In no time, it began to rain and the thunder scared Ramu, the parrot away.
Inanis made several attempt to find their beloved lost pet. They posted on social media about the lost parrot, walked around the neighbourhood looking for it, but all in vain.
Meanwhile, they changed their house and moved into a new locality with a disheartened Gopu.
After a lapse of two years, the neighbours noticed Ramu sitting outside the Inanis residence. When they informed the family about it, the family did not seem to believe the story.
In the evening when Devendra Inani entered the house, the now-home parrot named Ramu shouted ‘Papa! Papa!’. The rejoiced Inanis could not believe that their loved one was back.
This is yet another incident which cements the faithful bond of man and animals. We hope that the two parrots live a long healthy life with their family.
