Pankaj Advani, who has won India many accolades in both snooker and billiards, was recently trolled on Twitter when he ended up congratulating PM Modi believing in a fake tweet.
Though Advani’s intentions were good, he became the butt of internet jokes for trusting one of the numerous fake tweets that circulate on the web.

Pankaj Advani.
The fake tweet claimed that PM Modi was declared the best PM in the World by none other than UNESCO. So, Advani tweeted this:
Congratulations @narendramodi sir for being declared the best PM in the world by @UNESCO #ProudIndian @PMOIndia
— Pankaj Advani (@PankajAdvani247) June 24, 2016
But just minutes after he tweeted, Twitter trolls took notice and began mocking him for believing in a fake message.

When Advani realised his mistake, he quickly admitted he wasn’t correct. But being a sport he also gave a tongue-in-cheek reply to the trolls.
I know I got my facts wrong but this apparently gets more attention than when I win a WORLD TITLE!! 🙄🙄 🙏🏻 https://t.co/vWeBwdeuaO

Advani, till date, is the only player in the world to have won world titles in both billiards and snooker winning them at the same time (2015).
He also holds the record for wining 15 World Titles in both the games.
