The ongoing standoff between nuclear neighbours India and Pakistan is getting intensified with every passing minute. He said in an aerial engagement, a MiG-21 Bison shot down one Pakistan Air Force jet, but India lost one MiG 21.
“The pilot is missing in action. Pakistan has claimed that he is in their custody. We are ascertaining the facts.”
On the other hand, Pakistan claimed that it shot down two Indian jets and arrested two pilots.
Meanwhile, Pakistani Army has released a video to show the details of the captured Indian pilots. The video shows a man, who sustained facial injuries, is blindfolded and is and is dressed in flight suit. He is being questioned by Pakistan Army officials.
In the video statement, he said, “My name is Wing Commander Abhinandan and my service number is 27981.” He added by saying that he is a flying pilot. He then goes on to say, “May I request for a little information, sir? Am I with the Pakistani army?”
