Following the terrorist attack in Uri this month and the growing tension between India and Pakistan, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has decided to cancel it trade exhibition which was scheduled to be held in India next month.
“Due to current situations between Pakistan and India which are beyond TDAP’s control, the event planned for 2016 has been called off.” – Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP)
The heightened tension between the two countries has also seen many other cross-border programs and the events being canceled after the terror attack.

This is though the first cancellation of an event from the Pakistan side post- Uri Attack.
TDAP’s event was supposed to be the third edition of ‘Aalishaan Pakistan exhibition’ and was scheduled to be held at New Delhi in October 2016.
The first two edition of ‘Aalishaan Pakistan’ exhibition had taken place in 2012 and 2014.
The exhibition was meant to promote bilateral trade between the two countries and aimed to bring buyers and sellers from both the countries together on one platform.
