Published on 2 October, 2015 at 10:00 am By

Eric Lafforgue is a French photographer who has spent some time with the tribes of the Omo Valley in Ethiopia. Though there are many tribes in the region, Lafforgue spent most of his time with the Bana, Dassanech and Mursi. With western influence slowly seeping into the region, these tribes have started taking the trash they send their way and making it into beautiful traditional jewelry. See more of Lafforgue’s work on his website ericlafforgue.com.
