It is a known fact that the Indian armed forces regularly face stone pelters in the Valley.
These stone pelters are paid by Separatists, who are backed by Pakistan’s ISI, to create chaos and, at times, help terrorists escape the security forces.

And whenever the Indian armed forces take action against the stone pelters, it is the forces who come in for criticism by the Left-leaning, liberal media persons and some Kashmiri politicians.
So how do we expect the Indian Army to carry out their tasks? Perhaps the Army has itself found a solution which also happens to be non-violent.

Yes, a video clip doing the rounds of social media shows an Indian Army convoy passing reportedly through Gundipora village in Beerwah with a man tied to the front of the first vehicle. In the clip, an army soldier can be heard saying, “Those who throw stones will meet the same fate.”
According to some Kashmiri Twitter users, the man is a stone pelter.
An angry Omar Abdullah posted this on Twitter:
This young man was TIED to the front of an army jeep to make sure no stones were thrown at the jeep? This is just so shocking!!!! #Kashmir pic.twitter.com/bqs4YJOpJc
— Omar Abdullah (@abdullah_omar) April 14, 2017
And Twitterati trolled Abdullah badly:
@abdullah_omar इसकी जगह तुम्हें और तुम्हारे बाप को बांधना था फिर सही करती आर्मी…

@abdullah_omar Yes, it is shocking that soldiers carrying weapons have to indulge in Gandhigiri to save themselves from stone pelters.

Columnist and author Tavleen Singh, too, pointed out a fact to a pro-Separatist Kashmiri (who deleted his tweet):
You should also tweet the video of armed CRPF jawans not responding violently despite abuse from Kashmiri boys. https://t.co/cWHcBAh4fx
— Tavleen Singh (@tavleen_singh) April 14, 2017
And Omar again jumped in with his own logic:
Ma’am seriously? You are going to use that video to justify this action. So we should expect no better from the army than from stone pelters? https://t.co/gUClpGBYDq
— Omar Abdullah (@abdullah_omar) April 14, 2017
The Kashmiri politician also claimed that the video will up the hackles of Indians (which is a wrong assumption).
I understand the outrage the CRPF video generated. I’m also outraged that the video of the youth on the jeep won’t generate the same anger.
— Omar Abdullah (@abdullah_omar) April 14, 2017
The Indian Army has, on its part, stated that they are probing the authenticity of the video.
According to this Twitter user, the man in the video is not a stone pelter but a Territorial Army jawan. It was just a demo by the Indian Army to warn stone pelters.
The young man tied in front of army jeep is a Territorial Army jawan. This is just a demo by army

People are now asking Omar to apologize:
