Ola is a company that is known for providing its cab services all over the country. With its presence in almost every important city of India, Ola is pretty close to becoming the leading cab provider in India.
Ola has recently announced that apart from providing their cab services, they are now going to launch an app based news network, that will keep the users updated with the ‘Hyper News’. According to Ola, their news network will be different from traditional media houses, as it will focus on personalized local news, that will be provided based on user’s location.
Ola took it to twitter to announce the launch of their news network. They even provided a promotion video for the same. Take a look at the video:

Sounds promising, right? But wait! Didn’t they say that they are going to launch ‘Ola robotic wheels’ last year, and ‘Ola rooms’ a year before that?
Every year on 1st April, i.e. April Fool’s Day, Ola pulls such pranks on their customers. To make their Ola News Network prank more believable, they even went an extra mile and made a dedicated website for the service.
However, this time the users didn’t get fooled. Taking a lesson from Ola’s previous pranks, users correctly predicted that this time too, Ola is just crying wolf falsely, in order to make them April Fools.
Take a look at their comments on Ola’s post:
No more gonna get tricked.
