Among other things, Durga Puja is something that West Bengal is best known for. During Navratri, people here welcome Durga with a lot of devotion and fanfare. The entire state is brimming with festivity and fun, this Navratri being no exception.
While Bengalis were celebrating their favorite festival, Nusrat Jahan, a popular Bengali Muslim actress cheered for them, sending out good wishes for Durga Puja by sharing a video on social media. But she had to face the wrath of a large number of and trolls who held that since she is a Muslim, posting wishes for a Hindu festival is against her religion.
