Since yesterday, there has been speculation on social media about Kapil Sharma, a well-known Indian comedian, being featured at Madame Tussaud’s wax museum in London.

On Friday, social media was flooded with the happy news of Kapil Sharma putting another feather on his cap.

It was said that the same team who flew down to take measurements of PM Modi for his statue, came to take Kapil’s measurements too. However, this isn’t true as per a new report on ‘Hindustan Times‘.

In reply to a mail from ‘Hindustan Times’, the authorities at Madame Tussaud’s said:

“Thanks for getting in touch. We currently don’t have any plans to make a figure of Kapli Sharma at Madame Tussaud’s London, but we will take the suggestion into consideration for the future, thank you. Once we have confirmed a new figure we always publish the news on our website and social media pages first, so stay tuned there to get the official up to date latest figure news.”

But their is a confirmation from Madame Tussaud’s officials that can bring back that lost smile on your face:

“At this early stage, all we can confirm is that Delhi will be become the newest location for a Madame Tussaud’s wax attraction in early 2017. Full details of the experiences and celebrity figures to be featured are still being finalised. As soon as we have any further information we will be sure to pass on.”

Another cool thing added to the list of being a Delhiite. We can just wish good luck to Kapil for his upcoming show. Hope Madame Tussaud’s thinks about considering Kapil after his next hit!
