The Bollywood meets Hollywood Shaadi of the year is just a day away. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are tying the knot on December 2 in Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. The love story of this cute couple was like a modern-day fairytale. The love story started with the texting and reached the destination of marriage. The couple had hidden the secret for a long time as it all started in 2016. In a recent interview, the couple spilled the beans about their romance. In September 2016, Nick took to Twitter and sent a DM to Chopra.

Nick was one who initiated it all and texted this to Priyanka on Twitter:

“I’m hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet.”

To which, she responded and said:

‘My team can read this. Why don’t you just text me.’

After texting for five more months, they ran into each other in February 2017 at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. There, Jonas made a grand gesture inspired by a romantic scene and the Bollywood beauty was smitten by it.

Nick revealed:

“I put my drink down… get on one knee—this is in front of a bunch of people—and I say, ‘You’re real. Where have you been all my life?’ Like, loud.

They had a drink, as Priyanka had a plane to catch, and then they met formally three months later, a week before the Met Gala. As a twist of fate, Lauren didn’t even know about their digital banter when he invited them to don his designs.

Then they met for their first date at the New York City’s iconic Carlyle Hotel for drinks and the actress invited Jonas back to her apartment where her mom was also present.

Priyanka said that Nick left with a pat on my back only!

Jonas said:

“Your mom was in the house! I thought it was a respectful first night.”
