Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brother Ayazzudin Siddiqui had allegedly posted an objectionable comment on a Facebook post. According to a report by the Indian Express, the comment has hurt the religious sentiments of a section of social media users. The complaint against Ayazuddin Siddiqui was lodged by Hindu Yuva Vahini members. An FIR has been lodged against him under the section 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion, race, place of birth). According to the police, the actor’s brother had posted an objectionable post related to Lord Shiva in his comment.
However, Ayazuddin Siddiqui has denied the allegations of posting the objectionable content. According to Ayazuddin Siddiqui, he has been booked wrongly and that he, in fact, was confronting a man who had posted a derogatory picture.
Budhana, a small town in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh is Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s hometown where his family continues to stay, despite his popularity in Bollywood. Ayazuddin Siddiqui is eldest of eight siblings.

Regarding the complaint against Nawazuddin’s brother, Hari Ram Yadav, circle officer of Budhana said:
Advertisement“The FIR was registered on the complaint given to us. I saw the post and all Ayazuddin had done was posting a sensible comment on a post that was against a religious community. However, he posted the comment with an objectionable photo and that came into the notice of the complainants.”
While the charges are still being investigated by the police, social media is clearly not happy with the Siddiqui brothers. Here is how some Twitter users have expressed their fury over the matter:
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brother booked for posting a derogatory picture of Lord Shiva on social media. On being questioned, he alleges that he rather posted the picture with a comment that people shouldn’t post such pictures.
