India’s nuclear-armed neighbour will hold general elections on July 25, and already the tensions are rising before the crucial elections. Recently, Nawaz Sharif, his daughter and other party members, were attending the Youm-e-Takbeer Convention at Alhamra Arts Council when a worker tried to enter the stage in order to shake hands with Sharif.
However, instead of getting a warm welcome, the designated security guards of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif thrashed the PML-N party worker. And the way this man was treated left Twitter in shock and made them condemn the act in the strongest manner.
This had happened in front of Nawaz, Maryam, and other party leaders such as Railway Minister Khawja Saad Rafique.
The video of this incident has gone viral on the internet. You can watch it in the tweet below:

Railway Minister Khawja Saad Rafique stopped the security guards and allowed the man to meet Sharif. He then hugged Sharif and sat in the audience to attend the event. He even shouted the slogan of “Sher” from the crowd in the arena.
But the way he was treated has invited a huge flak on social media. Below you can see the reactions of some Twitter users on the video:
