An advertisement appearing on the front page of a leading Pakistan daily, featuring Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri, has been condemned by many, including journalists.
The advertisement, which was for Mobilink (Pakistan Mobile Communications Limited), showed Nargis lying down in a red dress with a phone in her hand.
On December 17, Nargis, who is the brand ambassador for Mobilink, had tweeted out to her Pakistani fans asking them to ‘get ready for a big surprise’:

Pakistani investigative journalist Ansar Abbasi was the first one to condemn the ad and expressed his displeasure over ‘obscenity’.
