A 5th class student from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get him admitted in a school as his father is unemployed.
In his letter, Divyanshu referred to his family’s poor financial condition. He wrote that his father is unemployed despite being holding a PhD degree. He also said that his grandfather, retired from the post of TTE, is suffering from cancer.
“Dear PM Sir… please get me admitted to DAV School in Malighat, Muzaffarpur, so that I can become a doctor,” he wrote.
Divyanshu wrote this letter from his notebook in simple English. He also gave complete details of his village, post, block, district and mentioned his father’s mobile number in the end.
Following intervention by the PMO, Deputy Secretary of CBSE wrote a letter to the DAV school principal Jayshree Ashokan, to get Divyanshu admitted in the next session.
Ashokan informed Divyanshu’s father about this over phone and has asked to come with relevant documents on November 9.
The principal has also asked for other information so that Divyanshu does not faces any further problem.
