The city encountered an unexpected snowfall on Holi and made the festival even more special. It was a long weekend and The city was already flocked by many tourists, who got such pleasant surprise by nature.

The last time it snowed on Holi was in 1998. Durgesh Nandan, shared his experience with TOI and said,
We smeared gulal and threw snowballs at each other. It definitely was a special Holi.
