Traveling in Mumbai local is a daunting exercise, but it is also something that Mumbaikars cannot escape from. More than being a lifeline, it is a way of life, because roads (with potholes, obviously), rains, and traffic leave them with no other practical option to travel unless they own private jets & choppers like the Ambanis and the Khans.
Well, if you have ever traveled in a Mumbai local, you can surely say that the number of people hanging on the door is often more than people standing inside the compartment.
It is so tragic to see hundreds of people just hanging and risking their lives when they can take the next local coming by. Moreover, even kids do crazy stunts and take selfies just to show how cool they are.
Not only this, an incident has been reported recently where four boys while performing stunts on a local train snatched the mobile phone of a commuter standing on the railway station platform. Sounds crazy, right?
Also, one of their gang members even had the guts to upload the video online.
Here is the video:

This foolish act of hanging on the door and doing stunts is popularly known as ‘Train Surfing’ and it needs immediate attention of the Mumbai Railway police.
