A noted leader of India’s struggle for independence, Lal Bahadur Shastri also an has immense contribution in the making of newly independent India. He was the second Prime Minister of independent India and also fulfilled the responsibilities of Home Minister and Railway Minister for the newly independent country. He was also the leader of the country during 1965 Indo-Pakistan war and gave the famous slogan of “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan”.
