A Vodka bottle, made from gold and silver and with a diamond encrusted cap, and believed to be the “world’s most expensive” s stolen from Cafe 33 bar of Copenhagan, Denmark.
It is believed that the bottle, made up of 3kg silver and 3kg gold and contained a diamond encrusted replica of Russian Imperial Eagle on its lid, is worth $1.3 million (equivalent to Rs 8.23 crore).
The front of the bottle is decked up with leather from a 1912 Monte Carlo rally car and has a replica of the radiator guard used for Russo-Baltique cars.
According to Ingberg, owner of the Cafe 33 bar of Vesterbro, the thief had managed to enter the museum section of the building after it had closed. The bar that had a collection of 1200 vodka bottles on display had loaned the stolen one from the Latvia-based Dartz Motor Company. BBC quotes Ingberg telling TV2 Lorry that the bottle had been a part of his collection for six months.
The case of theft that took place on January 2 has been registered with the Danish police who is now investigating it. Few shots of the theft captured in CCTV footage has also been shared in a post on Facebook. Take a look at the screenshot of Facebook post below:
