The cricketer has been in the news since last several weeks after his wife, Hasin Jahan, lodged a complaint of domestic violence and infidelity against him. She has even leaked his chats with girls the cricketer has had with. Shami has been booked under various non-bailable, including an attempt to murder, and bailable sections. His wife has also accused the cricketer of involving in match-fixing. However, the BCCI cleared him of corruption charges and offered him a contract.
It seems like there are too many problems and controversies surrounding Mohammad Shami. It is just 3 days back that he was cleared of match-fixing charges and this incident happened to him again which is really unfortunate.
It is said that Shami, who endured ‘mental torture’ over the last few days, has turned to the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy (ACA), run by Bengal batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran’s father, in Dehradun to rejuvenate himself mentally and physically. And he met with the accident while returning back to Delhi.
Meanwhile, it is reported that Shami is perfectly fine and will return to Delhi tomorrow.
However, what is interesting yet sad to learn is that many people, especially the Twitteratis, think that it is not an accident but a planned attack, considering the various controversies surrounding the cricketer. See below how people reacted to the cricketer’s accident:
