Narendra Modi’s wax statues have already been placed at Madame Tussaud’s museums in Singapore, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. Recently, the PM met his wax statue that is headed to London to be unveiled on 28 April. Modi was reportedly involved in the process of the statue creation from beginning to end and was very pleased with the results.
“What can I say? As far as art is concerned, the Madame Tussauds team is exceptional at what they do. What Lord Brahma does normally is what the artists there are doing. Today, I had an opportunity as the prime servant of my people to meet my wax figure,” Modi was quoted as saying in a release by Madame Tussauds.
Twitterati, however, found the moment of man-meets-statue very funny because no sooner did the news hit social media than out came the joke Tweets. We’ve rounded up some of the best of them for you.
