Sonu Nigam’s comment on Azaan is becoming controversial and uglier day by day. Sonu Nigam tweeted that the morning Azaan hampers his sleep and it’s a forced religious practice that should be stopped. However, his tweet got him slammed on Twitter and people called him communal.
The singer later clarified that he is against the use of loudspeakers at any religious spot. He even got his head shaved when a Maulvi issued a fatwa against him and kept a prize money of 10 lakh on shaving Sonu Nigam’s head.
The singer trolled the Maulvi and demanded the reward after shaving his head on his own.
Now, one of the close friends of Sonu Nigam, Mika Singh has slammed him on Twitter for posting a tweet against Azaan. In a series of tweets, Mika explained the importance of religious players being played on loudspeakers.
He even commented about the time when he used to do Jagrans with Sonu Nigam that weren’t without loudspeakers either.
However, Mika Singh has deleted his previous tweets and posted this:
Guys Gurdwaras, Mandirs, masjids and churches aren’t only for loud speakers. They represent charity, langars and honourable things..,

Mika even went live on Twitter and discussed the matter with his followers. Take a look at the video here:
