The energy and passion exhibited by Mexicans and Punjabis have always complemented each other. Both cultures thrive on lively music, spicy food and celebrating the little things that make them happy. What is even better? Seeing people from both communities dancing with each other.
A video posted by Jashandeep Kahlon on Twitter shows Indian and Mexican neighbors dancing to Latin and Punjabi songs together. The street party took place in Stockton, California, where two households were celebrating American Independence Day.

The people are dancing to ‘Despacito’, ‘Gasolina’, ‘Aari Aari’, ‘Saadi Rail Gaddi’, and other Punjabi songs. Some Indian men also tried to teach their Mexican friends Punjabi dance steps. Everyone looks merry and the world is a happy place again.
The video has since gone viral and received a lot of affection from people calling it the “epitome of American dream”. After racism became one of the major issues in America, people in despair due to the US president’s political tactics, are happy beyond measure.
