Bollywood actress and Femina Miss India, 2002, Neha Dhupia has been in the limelight for many years and despite the fact that she has not acted in many Bollywood movies, the diva is well known and liked among fans and Bollywood bigwigs alike.
From being a style icon to being an unabashed, cool and unapologetic diva who knows about everything, Neha’s bold and charismatic persona is famous among all and she is well liked for it.
But what many don’t know is that the 37-year-old has come to marrying twice and for one reason or the other, both the times’ things have fallen through.
Here is a list of few known men whom she has dated and two she came close to marrying.
Neha first known fling happened with National level squash player Ritwik Bhattacharya.
While its still not clear how the two met. The duo reportedly dated for nearly 10 years with their relation starting sometime in the year 2000.
Rumour has it that their marriage was on the cards, but unfortunately didn’t solidify and the duo parted ways in the year 2010.
While the exact reason as to why they didn’t marry is not known, from what we gather from Neha’s recent interview the duo didn’t part on good terms.
“We have been in and out of the relationship for a long time now. We are no more together and I am very much single…But there is no point in discussing about that. I have moved on in life and I have happily moved on in life.”
After Ritwik, Neha reportedly went on to date cricketer Yuvraj Singh.
The news about them dating first surfaced when the duo attended singer-actor Sophie Choudry’s birthday together.
A few weeks later reports that the two are set to marry started to make round. But before media and people could speculate more Neha came out denied any relationship with Yuvraj.
After Yuvi, Neha reportedly went on to date a guy from Venezuela who was reportedly a dentist.
While not much is known about James Sylvester, it is said that James used to work in the US but their bond and love for Neha was such that he shifted base to Mumbai for her.
But things apparently didn’t work out and James soon flew back to the US to continue his practice.
Later, Neha herself cleared the air and admitted to having broken up with James and said,
“Yes, Jimmy (as she fondly calls him) has moved to Washington. Beyond this, I don’t wish to comment on my personal life.”
Since Jimmy, Neha has remained single and is in no rush to get married anytime soon.
Talking about her personal life in a recent interview, Neha made it clear that she doesn’t want to get married for the sake of it and that she is well capable of taking care of herself.
“I feel settled already. I mean, I’m paying my own bills … what else do I need?”
