Aamir Khan starrer “Mela” released in 2000, is a film that film lovers haven’t forgotten yet. With a score of 3.8 on IMDb, this is one of such films that’s so bad that it becomes perfect for mindless fun. Jokes apart, one of the characters in this film that certainly created some stir is that of the villain Gujjar Singh played by Tinu Verma. His intense performance is the breath of fresh air in the movie.
It has been 18 years since the movie Mela got released, and though most of the cast members are either successful or out of business, this person is the one who secured his role in the mega-series “Karmaphal Daata Shani” that just ended on March 9, 2018.
Besides being an actor, he also worked as a stunt director in many Bollywood, Telegu, and Bhojpuri films. Some of the popular ones are “Shola Aur Shabnam,” “Raja Hindustani,” and “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.”
Apart from acting and stunts, he also tried his hand at direction. Some of the films directed by him are “Maa Tujhe Salaam,” “Baaz: A Bird in Danger,” and “Ghulami.”
He bagged Filmfare Award three times in the category of Best Performance by an Action Director for the films “Khuda Gawah,” “Arjun Pandit,” and “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.” He has also received other awards as an action director.
