At this crucial pinnacle of religious debates in India, Meghna Gulzar has released a perfect five minute movie called, ‘India.. India’ for the India Today Conclave ’16.

Shot in the midst of the bustling city of Mumbai, the movie is a beautiful message for rigid, diversity-haters.

Its protagonist is a boy selling key-chains and dream catchers in temples, mosques and churches. Where he ends up, is a pleasant surprise reflecting where all of us really belong – one motherland, India

Gulzar’s stirring movie hits the right note. It is a lovely reminder for all of us who stir political debates in the name of religion and comes with shiny armors against our own brothers. ‘Intolerance’, a front page headline these days, is counter-acted in the most Gulzar way.
