To be able to speak in the parliament is not easy amidst opposition chanting slogans and sometimes politicians throwing chairs at each other. Mayawati has had enough and she decided to get her way by hook or by crook.

Chief of the Bahujan Samaj Party walked out of the Rajya Sabha on the second day of the monsoon session. She lost her temper at not getting a fair chance to speak as she was asked to limit her speech to three minutes. Mayawati has also threatened to resign from the Rajya Sabha for the same reason.

If I am not allowed to speak right now, I will resign right away.
