It is a trend these days to curse, abuse and say anything out of the context during debates and discussions on various news channels.
Some days back we saw how Rubika Liyaqat and Faye D’ Souza slammed their panelists for saying things that offended the female presenters and raised questions on their work ethics.
Debates turning ugly is not a new thing, and as time goes by, people are giving us more and more examples of their misbehavior, especially with the female presenters of news channels.

Another incident has come to light where a Maulana challenged a female news presenter and passed derogatory remarks on her during a debate on Sudarshan News.
The video of the debate is now going viral on social media.
In the video, Maulana Ashraf Jilani is heard saying, “When the population of Muslims will increase, they would come inside your homes and read Namaz from there.”

The presenter, Lavani Vineet, found this completely unacceptable and warned the Maulana that this kind of statement can get him into trouble. She told Jilani that a case can be registered against him.
She further asked him to mind his words and calm down. However, the Maulana didn’t pay any heed to the anchor’s comments and kept repeating what he said earlier.
The debate was aired on the channel a few days back and has now become a matter of discussion amongst Facebook and Twitter users.
