Jyothi KG, a 28-year-old woman from Malappuram district in Kerala posted the ad along with the hashtag #FacebookMatrimony. Quite expectedly, the post went viral with exploding numbers of likes, comments, and shares.
She believes that Facebook is a solution for those who don’t want to get exploited by traditional brokers or matrimonial sites. Being a direct point of interaction, it can help people to get to touch with their probable partners easily.
Interestingly, this is not the first time someone posted a matrimony ad on Facebook. It also happened with another man who posted the ad and then tied the knot too.
