Manyata Dutt is a woman of many names. Born as Dilnawaz Shaikh she came to be known as Sara Khan in the movie business. Later she changed her name to Manyata. Before meeting and marrying Sanjay Dutt she aspired to make it big in Bollywood.
But since her dreams hadn’t materialized after many trials, she resorted to family life with Dutt. And many would say it was the best decision of her life. But there was another decision, or rather suggestion she gave that changed Sanjay’s life.
Sanjay Dutt’s biopic is all the rage even after a month of its release. The audience love the movie and Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Sanjay in it. But does anyone know from who gave the idea of starting this movie?
Well, it seems like the idea came from none other than Manyata Dutt. As per some reports when Sanjay was out on bail one time, Hirani came to meet him. Sanjay shared a few life anecdotes with him and Manyata soon suggested that he make a biopic on Sanjay’s life.
Hirani was initially not convinced to make the movie. But he reluctantly went on listening to Sanjay’s anecdotes and later got driven into making the movie. Sanjay in a recent interview said that some of the moments in his life were so horrible that he did not want to relive them ever. But he still bared it all in front of Hirani for the sake of the movie.
Sanjay gave all the credit to wife Manyata Dutt as she was the mind behind the idea. The movie has already set records in the history of Bollywood. However, there are many who believe that it did not tell the real story. Many also believe that the movie does not do a good job of showing the real Sanjay.
Some recent reports suggest that Ram Gopal Verma has decided to make another biopic on Sanjay which he claims will be more honest. We wonder whose idea this is?
