BJP’s Delhi Chief Manoj Tiwari was recently caught on camera, making fun of people who had to stand in ATM lines for hours thanks to demonetization of old Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes.
The video, which was broadcasted by a local news channel in Delhi, shows Tiwari talking to fellow BJP leaders Vijender Gupta and BJP’s National spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi and telling them about the time that he had met people standing in ATM lines.
Tiwari told fellow BJP leaders that he was initially confused how to make the people who were standing in the line laugh and thus he broke into a patriotic song.
“I went to stand in the (ATM) line in my area. There was someone from ABP there. I wondered what should I say so that all these people are amused. (Breaking into a song) The patriots are standing in queues, there is a huge crowd, India’s destiny is getting decorated with hardships.”
Till this point all seemed well, but then things turned for the worse as Tiwari went on to mock these people by imitating them in a degrading manner while every BJP MLA cheered him on.
Thus encouraged, Tiwari with roar of laughter added,
“People cheered me on, and they’ll keep standing in queues till December 30.”
Here is exactly what happened,
