For the first time, Indian PM Narendra Modi’s radio address to his own people–Mann Ki Baat–will be aired in a foreign country.
All India Radio Bangla language service channel Akashvani Maitree will broadcast the show in Bangladesh in their native language.
This will also be the first time that citizens of neighbouring country will get to ask questions to the Indian prime minister.
Arrangements have been made by AIR to receive comments and voice messages from Bangladeshi citizens. This is done to strengthen the ties.
In the monthly radio programme, Modi is likely to talk on Indo-Bangladesh relationship and friendship.
