Manjita Vanzara, the ACP of Ahmedabad, has been making headlines with her approach to nab gangsters and criminals. Apart from this, she is also the helping women stand back to her feet and has quickly become a role model for them.
Born into an affluent family in Gujarat, she has many IAS and IPS officers in her family. She is also the niece of IPS officer DG Vanzara whose name was highlighted in the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter. Vanzara is being dubbed as the ‘Lady Singham’ for her style of nabbing criminals.
She along with sub-inspector Kirti Lathia roamed around in a notorious area of Ahmedabad donning a burqa. The two brave ladies busted a gambling racket and arrested all 28 accused men.
