From Food And Shelter To Free Rides, Manchester’s Sikh Community Is Generously Helping The Attack Victims

Just yesterday, the dream night of youngsters gathered at the Manchester Arena became their worst nightmare. The crowd was gathered for the popular singer, Ariana Grande’s live performance when a suicide bomber carried out an attack in the arena filled with people.

The attack has reportedly taken the life of 22 people and has severely injured the life of almost 59 people. People across the world condemned the deadliest attack that the UK has ever faced. However, the Sikh community of Manchester decided to step forward and help the victims.

Their heartwarming gesture has left people in awe. The community showed their support to the victims, the nearby Gurudwaras stayed open for the whole night to offer food and shelter to them.

Cab drivers are even providing free services to the people in trauma.

The great compassion shown by the community deserves a salute. Many people have even started a hashtag #RoomForManchester on Twitter to help the victims. People are offering food, transport services, and even homes to them.
