The wave of the emergence of stand-up comedy presented us with many fresh talents and Mallika Dua is one such person. Also a writer, she rose to fame with ‘Shit People Say: Sarojini Nagar Edition.’ Not only that, she was also part of online video publishing houses and appeared in many viral skits. For a period she became a part of mainstream TV comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ but later got sacked over her row with one of the judges, Akshay Kumar.

She is the daughter of prominent Indian journalist Vinod Dua, who is labeled as a ‘presstitute’ by the netizens. Naturally, when online users came upon the chance to troll Mallika, his name was also dragged.

Recently, she appeared in a web show named ‘Social Media Star’ along with director Karan Johar for a candid conversation. During a rapid-fire round, the host asked her ‘a twitter account you will love suspended pronto?’ It’s Mallika Dua’s answer that infuriated the Twitterati.

She said:

‘All bhakts yaar, all this IT cell f*****s. They should just die.’

A user posted the video with the caption ‘So, madam Mallika Dua wants all ‘bhakts’ dead. These are the views of so called liberals who give lectures on tolerance. Hypocrites of highest order.’ Here’s the tweet:
