A 31-year-old makeup artist from Vancouver, Canada has recently gone viral on the internet for her creativity in makeup. Mimi Choi is not like any other make-up artist, in fact, her creations can almost leave you stunned. Mimi is an expert in creating stunning hyper-real optical illusions. She recently transformed her hand into  a piece of Sushi, that looked almost real. She also added multiple eyes and lips to her own face, weird enough to scare someone.

This is #makeup not Photoshop • LAYERED FACE #makeup illusion using @makeupforeverofficial @makeupforeverca flash palette, kohl liners and @stilacosmetics matte eyeshadows and stay-all-day intense black liquid eyeliner. Nonsensical and unexpected art is my most favourite kind of art. 👹 #MIMLESHALLOWEEN __________________ #mua #makeupartist #mimichoimakeup #mimles #trompeloeil #trickart #surreal #surrealart #surrealism #art #artist #multipleeyes #trippyart #horror #halloweencostume #halloweenmakeup #halloween #wakeupandmakeup #makeupaddict #makeupartistsworldwide #amazingmakeupart #vancouver #vancitybuzz #vancity #extrememakeup #creativemakeup #originalart #makeuptutorialsx0x

As per a report, she explained about her creations and inspirations and stated,

When I do illusions now, I draw my inspiration mostly from my surroundings, photography, paintings, and emotions. I try not to look at other makeup artists’s work too much and challenge myself to produce original, unique work. My main goal each time I do a new look is to beat myself from yesterday because I’m the biggest critic and competition to myself. It’s gotten really hard to impress myself these days but it motivates me to keep trying and doing better.

Mimi used to be a teacher before and is doing makeup for the last three years. She attended some classes at a local school and learned to create makeup which is unusual and extreme. For her creations she uses a normal paint brush and everyday makeup products. She hardly use and special effects products.

My sushi looks were inspired by a sushi dinner that I had, I’ve seen people paint animals on their hands before but I thought why not food?

Here are some of her best creations which are widely being circulated on the internet:
