After ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ has hit massive success in India and abroad with a historic Rs. 1000 crore business so far, Indian film-makers are trying their hands onto many different projects. Earlier there was a news about the 1000 crore film based on epic ‘Mahabharata’ to be made. Now there is another news about ‘Ramayana’ in the making.
As per the reports, it is said that the production of the film will soon begin with a budget of Rs 500 crore, which is half the budget of ‘Mahabharata’. Seems that the success of ‘Baahubali 2’ is turning an inspiration for people who are hesitant of investing large sum of money into these projects.
Three film-makers have now teamed up to turn the saga of ‘Ramayana’ into a magnum opus. The story will be a narration about the life of Prince Rama and how his marriage to wife Sita turned into a tale to be remembered forever.
The film is going to be divided into a 3-part series. Three film-makers are involved in curating the entire concept including Allu Aravind, Namit Malhotra and Madhu Mantena. The three have been working on the script for over an year now. The movie will be released in Hindi, Telugu as well as Tamil. It will also be showcased in 3D version.
