Once more a little child fell victim to sexual abuse. This time the perpetrator was none other than the child’s teacher. In a shameful incident reported from Delhi’s Geeta Colony area of Shahdara district, a 25-year-old madrasa teacher has been found guilty of sexually exploiting a 10-year-old boy, who happens to be his student. The teacher, identified as Mohammad Savvad, has been arrested by the police.

According to police sources, this is not the first time that the teacher has been accused of such a shameful crime. Earlier this year, he had been arrested for sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl. However, he was released on bail soon after.

Police sources further said that the victim is a resident of Palwal, who had been admitted to the madrasa just a month ago by his father. It was on the fateful night of August 10, when everybody else in the madrasa was  fast asleep, the mufti sexually abused him and fled. Thankfully, the child did not keep quiet in this situation and informed his parents about the incident. His parents later lodged a complaint at a police station in Delhi. The Delhi Police filed a case under Section 377 of the IPC after getting confirmation about the sexual abuse from the medical team.

Police acted swiftly and arrested the accused on Saturday from Faridabad. According to the police, the accused previously lived in a rented apartment before becoming a mufti and shifting his base to the madrasa. It was while living in the rented apartment that he had sexually abused a girl living in the same neighborhood.
