Yogi Adityanath Thinks Lord Krishna Made World’s First Cashless Transaction

While addressing a gathering in Lucknow’s Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National University, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on April 24 said that the first cashless transaction ever was done by Lord Krishna, when had helped his friend Sudama.

Further elaborating on his claim, he added that the cashless system existed in India during ‘Dwapara Yug’, and the example for the same can be seen in many tales from the Hindu mythology.



Recalling the famous tale of Lord Krishna and his childhood friend Sudama, Yogi said,

Yogi was speaking on the occasion of Panchayati Raj Diwas, where he also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his push towards a cashless economy and asserted that only cashless transactions can end corruption within the country.
