We know that Nokia is about to launch an Android smartphone to compete in the dominant market. Of course, we will get to see an Android supported Nokia very soon.
As of now, images have appeared in the Chinese media purportedly showing how the phone looks.
The pictures are of low resolution but the designs of the Nokia C1 and Nokia P are quite clear from the pictures.
According to the Chinese media, the C1 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC processor supported by a 4GB RAM. It will have upto 128GB of internal storage
But it is the camera that could become the phone’s USP.
Nokia C1 has a dual 16MP (rear) and 12MP (front) camera setup with triple LED flash, red laser autofocus and Xenon flash.
Of course, Nokia phones are known for their high-quality cameras. And if this is the kind of camera the new phone will have then the selfie-obsessed buyers will surely go for it.
But wait! If the Nokia C1 looks enticing then the specifications of Nokia P is jaw-dropping.
Nokia P will have the same processor but will have 6GB RAM. And the camera? Well, who wouldn’t love a 23MP camera having a Carl Zeiss lens?
And as far as battery life is concerned, the C1 will have a 3,210mAh battery. The Nokia P will be having a more powerful battery. Because, of course, battery life is on what Nokia made a name for itself!
Both phones will run on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system – the latest one. The prices of the two phones is not known.
And when are they coming? No one knows for sure but word is that they could be unveiled at February’s Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.
